ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
🌟 Our Founder's Story
"I didn't choose this work. This work chose me starting with my Grandmother."
Growing up in Dayton, Ohio, the foundation of everything was family — and at the center of that family was his grandmother. From an early age, he developed a deep, genuine bond with her that shaped the way he sees every senior he serves today. Not as a client. Not as a case. But as someone's grandmother. Someone's grandfather. Someone who matters completely.
That love for seniors led him directly into elderly care. In 1993, he began his career as a home health aide stepping into the homes of seniors across the Dayton area and providing the kind of hands-on, compassionate care that makes a real difference in a person's daily life. What started as a calling quickly became a career, and that career became a mission.
"I have always believed that no senior should ever feel alone, confused, or left behind especially not in a world that keeps changing faster than most people can keep up with."
But there was another passion running alongside his love of people — and that was technology. Even as a young boy growing up in Dayton, he was drawn to electronics in a way that felt almost instinctive. He didn't just use devices he understood them. He fixed them. He connected them. He saw possibilities in them that others missed.
At just 17 years old, handed a couple of programming books, he sat down and wrote his very first computer program. No classroom. No instructor. Just curiosity, determination, and a mind built for solving problems. That early spark never went out.
"I have always wanted to see things connected especially technology — and to figure out how it could be used more effectively to improve people's lives."
That vision led him to serve his country. He spent eight years providing Security Police for the United States Air Force protecting nuclear weapons, securing one of our countries valuable and protected the kind of deep, real-world expertise in security that most people only read about. He didn't just study security. He lived it. He practiced it. He protected people with it.
After his military service, he brought all of that expertise the caregiving heart, the technology knowledge, and the security training back home to Dayton. And he put it all in service of the community he has always loved.
Dayton's Go-To Senior Technology Concierge
Long before Pampered Companion Care had a name, he had a reputation. Among the seniors he served throughout the Dayton area, he became known as something rare and invaluable the person you called when you needed anything handled, fixed, connected, or figured out.
"My senior clients grew to depend on me. Not just for care but for everything. I became their go-to person."
Connecting iPhones to Wi-Fi. Setting up Fire Sticks. Troubleshooting computers. Teaching seniors how to video call their grandchildren for the first time. Walking someone through their first smartphone with patience, with humor, and with genuine joy in watching them light up when it clicked.
This is not a service he offers. This is simply who he is. A man who has been connecting people to technology and to each other since he was a little boy in Dayton, Ohio.
